The Solar Transit in Gate 50 – Gate of Values

Today, I am sharing my very personal reflection on this transit. Call it a “dear diary” entry.

Navigating the Cauldron of Values

The Sun is shining brightly in Gate 50, the gate of Values, while the Earth resides in Gate 3, the gate of Ordering. This combination is stirring up a lot within me. I find myself constantly evaluating what’s truly important, what needs to be let go, and what new paths I’m being called to explore.

One of the main themes I’ve been grappling with is the sudden changes and challenges that seem to be arising out of nowhere (the transit is activating The Channel of Mutation 3/60). It’s as if the universe is testing the foundations of my beliefs and the way I’ve structured my life.

I’ve found myself questioning everything, from the relationships with neighbors whose noise levels are affecting our living space to the way I approach my work and personal responsibilities.

This transit has a strong connection to the concept of the “cauldron” – a place where values are constantly being cooked and refined. I can certainly relate to this feeling of being in a metaphorical cauldron, where ideas, emotions, and convictions are being stirred and transformed.

At times, I’ve felt overwhelmed by the sheer volume of thoughts and feelings swirling around in my mind. I’ve found myself struggling to put this energy into words as if I’m trying to speak through a veil of uncertainty. But I’m learning to embrace this discomfort, knowing that it’s all part of the process of growth and self-discovery.

One of the most significant realizations I’ve had during this transit is the importance of putting myself first. I’ve always been the type of person who is quick to drop everything to help others, even at the expense of my own well-being. But this week, I’ve made a conscious effort to prioritize my own needs and values.

For example, I finally took the plunge and ordered a new couch for my living room, something I’ve been putting off for far too long. It was a simple act, but it felt like a profound shift in my mindset. I realized that by neglecting my own comfort and needs, I was doing a disservice not only to myself but to those around me.

As I navigate this transit, I’m learning to be more discerning about the responsibilities I take on and the values I’m willing to uphold. It’s not always easy, as there’s a fear of rocking the boat or being seen as selfish.

But I’m slowly coming to terms with the fact that true responsibility starts with taking care of myself first.

This transit is a powerful reminder that we all have a responsibility to ourselves, to our communities, and to the values that shape our lives. It’s a time of both challenge and opportunity, a chance to dive deep and uncover the truths that truly matter to us.

All is well. Slow down to accelerate.
