Sun in Gate 30 – The Gate of Desires

(Clinging fire)

Analyse what is happening, and do not try to change anything.

This gate brings a burning desire to experience life fully, try new things (or stop experiencing something specific). Expectations are running high, we are feeling the potential for a new and exciting experience.

The key here is to understand that the clinging fire of desire will not stop UNTIL we go into that experience. What we will discover can really differ from what we thought it would uncover.

It is best during this transit to hold back expectations and understand the powerful emotional energy behind this influence.

This does not mean we cannot try new things, have fun, and explore. This is a good time for all those new ventures; the only warning is to have an open mind. Try to determine which new “adventures” fit with your nature and which are desires for desire’s sake. Use your strategy and Authority to embrace those that feel right.

You may also want to create a change, perhaps break a relationship that stopped being exciting, or feel hurt—hold off taking action. There may be disappointment and loss on the other side of it. Just stay still until the transit passes, and you get the emotional clarity you need to deal with it. 

If you have an Open Solar Plexus Center, be careful not to dwell on a negative feeling from the past or the reaction to something someone else said or did. Especially if you are dealing with emotionally defined people, their actions and outbursts do not represent how they may be feeling about the issue after a while

Earth in Gate 29 – The Gate of Commitment

Earth’s grounding energy causes us to tend to say YES to things, regardless of the outcomes, which makes this transit a bit trickier. 

This is not a good time to enter into or sign contracts, buy something on a whim, make long-term plans, or invest.  

You may overextend yourself and get caught up in every little thing that catches your attention without considering the commitment it requires. Still, this energy is a gift when you get to say YES to the right things—again, follow your Authority to decide what feels aligned, even if this means breaking up a relationship or a promise.

Harmonious Gate 41 – The Gate of Imagination Activating The Channel of Recognition 30/41

If you have Gate 41, emotions, especially excitement, can run high for you. 

The Channel of Recognition focuses on having a vision for the new future and the urgency for others to see what you see with others, sharing your passion to make it a reality. People who can help you realise that vision may pop into your life. 

This energy can also make you wrapped up in your own world so much that getting attention stops being a priority. We are all feeling this now because Pluto is currently residing in gate 41, affecting us all. We are starting something new, building up our hunger for a new experience. We are at the beginning of the new cycle, so this week, there may be a particularly potent influence from this channel in our lives.

Again, because gate 30 comes from the emotional centre, we need to temper expectations and wait for emotional clarity before taking action, including sharing our vision. 

It is a powerful transit pushing us towards what we are avoiding and trying to escape. So expect to bump into it and more than just once. However, as always, these forces are not here to harm you. In fact, after any challenging period, there is always calm, love and joy that await. Life operates in cycles, and we just need to let it do its thing. Focus on the now, take challenges and negative experiences with a pinch of salt, smile and focus on what feels right. 

Get clear on what experience you really desire, and focus on it – you may be shocked at how quickly it can happen.
