Navigating the Gate of the Trickster

As the Sun moves into the 26th Gate of the Egoist, sometimes called The Gate of Accumulation, we may find ourselves confronted with exaggerated claims and half-truths designed to sway our decisions. This is the domain of the trickster, the liar, and the truth-teller – a double-edged energy that can serve both beneficial and detrimental ends.

This is the energy of chasing the power, the material gain and maximum outcomes.

We are dealing with tribal energy where an agenda, some form of gain is always at the back of one’s mind. In a way the agenda of this gate is to get what it wants (maximum reward) with the most minimum effort spent possible.

This gate has the gift of persuasion, but beware that the power of persuasion may serve the one persuading more than benefits you at this time. Make sure your needs and goals are met in whatever dealings you are involved. 

With the tremendous power of the Heart Center behind this Gate, we may encounter smooth-talking salespeople who seem to have a ready answer for any objection. They’ll make their product or proposition appear to be the “best thing since sliced bread”, all while their primary motivation may be their own commission or benefit.

I just experienced this influence during a casual visit to a dermatologist in a very fancy cleaning. If I was not aware of this transit, I would have been talked into doing a full body fancy scan with various biopsies taken to “check” if everything is ok. Well, just a few months ago I went to my “normal” dermatologist in a local clinic and she checked everything assuring me I have nothing to worry about, as some changes to skin are normal at my age.

Yet in this fancy private clinic _ which is driven by the needs of getting more business in the door, the persuasive and emotional conversation about the state of my skin, could have cost me not less than 1K by the end of the day! And it would NOT be essential!

Be wary of anything that seems “too good to be true” during this transit. However, it’s important to note that those with the 26th Gate in their design often maintain they could never sell something they don’t genuinely believe in. So yes, of course the nurse that was trying to upsell me those scans was genuinely convinced they should be part of one’s skin care routine.

So the way to approach it is simply to check the alignment of your needs to what is being “sold” to you.Including ideas in your business, by the way!

On the opposite side, you could be doing the persuading, but unless you have the harmonic gate 44 in your design, you may have the skill and the presence to transmit your message, but not know to whom, when or where to present, so follow your Strategy and Authority before acting on your urges. 

Earth in Gate 45 – the Gate of Gatherer

The 45th Gate provides the grounding frequency for this period, suggesting we may find ourselves involved in collective endeavors – whether material, educational, or otherwise – with focus on providing for the future.

The gate brings the theme of leadership, saying the last word, sealing the deal with approval. It is the energy of the CEO, symbolising managing people and resources front he top of the hierarchy, while others do the actual grind.

Here, the persuasive energy of may manifest in exaggeration, hyperbole, or salesmanship as people come together around a common purpose.

If you have an Open Will Center, which encompasses 65% of the population, be extra mindful of any tendencies towards boastfulness or making promises you may not be able to keep. Trust your Strategy and Authority to guide you in discerning which opportunities are truly worthy of your energy and commitment.

Harmonic Gate 44

For those with the 44th Gate in their design, the “Channel of Surrender” brings one the gift of working with people. It helps present anything to anyone in such a way that you and your message is properly recognised. It however is not an initiating channel, so wait until your market find you (and focus on becoming discoverable). Record podcast episodes, write articles, generally focus on anything that adds to how you can be found while expressing your truth this week.

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to assert your position in a partnership, business setting, or negotiation, this transit may provide a favorable window – as long as you honor your inner wisdom.

Wise Discernment, Harmful Indulgences

To navigate this period effectively, maintain a critical eye towards any claims or propositions presented to you. Align your involvement with your highest purpose and the greater good. Cultivate persistence, trust, and the willingness to delegate when appropriate. Surrender your own will when necessary, while honoring your authentic voice.

Avoid pride, egocentrism, and a sense of unwarranted superiority over others. Be cautious of falling victim to manipulation or unjustified competition. Refrain from overextending yourself or making commitments you cannot fulfill.
