Solar Transit in Gate 21– The Gate of Hunter/Huntress

fining balance between cointrolling and allowing

Oof, this Solar Transit in Gate 21 has really been a doozy, hasn’t it?

The Gate of the Hunter/Huntress, also known as “Biting Through,” brings a touch of very heavy energy. It is all about control – that feeling of being in the driver’s seat, or should I say feeling out of control? Basically, this is a scene of thriving when given control. And we’re trying in every possible way to be in control. In its shadow form, this can show as suddenly becoming mean, provocative, or even manipulative to gain that feeling of being in control of either your material possessions, your relationships or your well-being. A simple example would be to feel overweight and then become mean and project that frustration onto you’re closed ones, just because you’re feeling bad about yourself.

Or feeling more needy in a relationship and, therefore, treating your loved ones poorly. But this is a transit, which means we’re all affected by this feeling, and so people around us are experiencing their own turmoils.

This isn’t just about the external circumstances – it’s about that inner battle we all face between our desire for security and stability versus our need for freedom and spontaneity. When that 21 energy hits, it can really throw that delicate balance out of whack.

Earth in Gate 48 – Gate of Depth

To make matters even more interesting, we’ve also got the Earth transiting through Gate 48 – the “Gate of Depth.” This is a Splenic gate, making us focus deeper on our fears and insecurities, especially when it comes to feeling “adequate” or worthy.

So not only are we grappling with that control/lack of control dynamic, but we’re also dealing with this underlying sense of self-doubt. It’s like a perfect storm of “not enough-ness” – not feeling in control of our lives and not feeling good enough about ourselves either. Talk about a heavy combo.

But here’s the thing – as challenging as this transit has been, I also see it as a real opportunity for growth. Because when we’re forced to confront these deep-seated fears and feelings of inadequacy, it gives us a chance to finally address them, heal them, and come out the other side feeling more grounded and secure in who we are.

Strategies for Navigating the Storm

So what’s a girl to do when she’s feeling like she’s barely hanging on during these intense astrological shifts? Well, I’ve learned a few tricks along the way that have really helped me weather the storm.

First and foremost, it’s crucial to avoid making any major decisions or purchases when you’re in the throes of this energy. That impulse to “control” through shopping or signing up for the latest course is strong, but it often just leads to more stress and buyer’s remorse later. Instead, take that time to unplug, go inward, and reconnect with your true self and guidance.

And speaking of unplugging – sometimes the best thing we can do is remove ourselves from the situation temporarily, take a breather, and let the storm pass. As I always say, the world will be there when you’re ready to re-engage. Protecting your energy and focus is crucial during these intense transits.

Ultimately, the key is to cultivate that sense of balance and composure, even when everything around you feels like it’s spinning out of control.

It’s not about perfection but about developing the self-awareness and resilience to flow with the ebbs and flows. Because when we can do that, we unlock new levels of leadership and manifestation that serve us so much better than any desperate attempt to grasp control.

So hang in there, my friends. This, too, shall pass. And on the other side, I have a feeling we’ll all be a little bit wiser, a little bit stronger and a whole lot more in tune with our own inner power.
