Solar Transit in Gate 15 – The Gate of Extremes

This week, embrace the “gate of extremes” transit by finding balance and avoiding excesses. This transit encourages us to align and adapt our rhythms to evolving circumstances — a timely reminder. This Solstice offers a perfect chance for reflection and introspection, urging us to ponder: Where can we slow down?

Life can see a bit too dull this week, and you may feel like stirring it up (this is how the theme of extreemes may be showing up in your business and life). Slow down, observe, and wait for the right moment instead of pushing too hard. Focus on enjoying the journey and process rather than obsessing over the desired outcome. Show up authentically, honouring your true nature, and take inspired action by implementing what you learn step-by-step. If you have the 5th Gate, be particularly mindful of the tendency to lose balance during this period.

To understand the essence of this influence, picture yourself walking a tightrope between two tall buildings. How can you cross over in a way that is safe? This challenge is all about slowing down and observing. Sensing the right timing to take the next step. This energy is so powerful right now, and it’s coupled with the fact that 2024 is the 8th universal year in numerology, which is all about balance. I’ve definitely felt this in my own life.

Those who read my book know my attitude to everything in life these days is simply “slow down to accelerate” Every day at 11:11, my phone alarm goes off, reminding me to take a moment to breathe and reassess, reminding me to find my own rhythm, my cycle, trust my own journey. If you’re feeling the urge to “go all out” – whether on ramping up a marketing strategy you have been considering or wanting to burn it all to the ground, pause! Find a balance between being proactive and overdoing it. Stay flexible, smart, and aware.

Communicate with integrity. Instead of aggressive sales tactics, focus on networking. Making new connections without seeing them as potential leads can sometimes lead to surprising outcomes. Focus on forming bonds without expectations. Pair your knowledge with action – do not get stuck learning. Progress is all in implementation, so take inspired action, small steps at a time and remember to find joy in the process, not just the outcome. Don’t let the pressure of desired results push you to extremes.

Gate 10 The Behaviour of Self

How can we stay grounded during difficult times? Keep your behaviour rooted in self-love. Honour who you naturally are rather than fighting it. This makes me think of my 1/3 profile in Human Design – which is the profile of most introspective people on the planet. We are literally always “in our heads” processing what we learn about the world through our neverending research (and I do not use this word in an academic sense, it is just constant trying to understand the bottom line in everything you do).

So that kind of person would naturally share what is in their head, essentially talking about themselves a lot, as it is natural for them to express their perspectives and opinions to use themselves as examples. How can they not- their focus is always turned within. They are the only person they actually truly know.

My mom once accused me of being selfish, and I carried that for so long as an adult, and yet this is what is extremely natural and even – GOOD for me. When I share from that SELF-ish place, I speak my truth, and I attract the most genuinely wonderful – correct for my business people and me.

Look at what you may be fighting that is natural to you this week. Create from that place of ease and alignment with your true self. It’s so important to honour your natural pace and preferences instead of forcing yourself into a role that doesn’t fit. Trust me, embracing who you are and leaning into your unique gifts makes a world of difference.

When you’re true to yourself, you connect more deeply with your audience and create a presence that’s both genuine and impactful. So, let your individuality shine through in everything you do. After all, it’s your authenticity that truly sets you apart! Adjust and adapt without self-loathing or obsession. Slow down if needed to stay safe. Avoid making scenes or pushing yourself over the edge.

If you have the 5th Gate in your chart, it can be challenging to sustain positive habits this week, so be aware of this and try your best to find your own rhythms and timing rather than following what you “should” do. Have the courage to say no and take it slower if needed.

During this wonderful Human Design Transit, follow your own rhythms – those are the correct ones for you. Finding balance is key in times of extremes.
