Becoming The Ambassador For Something Bigger Than You
In my role as a visibility mentor and strategist, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing individuals who have dedicated themselves to groundbreaking ideas, and I’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact they can have when they step into the role of ambassador for their work.
It’s a journey that is equal parts exhilarating and daunting, but the rewards are truly remarkable.
Firstly, it makes your client attraction infinitely easier and more consistent. Because when you channel your vision your insights and carrying the torch that lights up the dark path for others, that voice has the magnetic power no sales page can achieve. It is channeling the message of hope, transformation and possibilities. Not asking “to be paid,” even if there is a call to action inviting into your programs and courses, where you can guide and help them even more.
So ask yourself what would it feel if you were to become an ambassador for what your gifts and professional expertise represent?
I am not asking that you become the best, the most popular or the most profitable figure in that niche. I am asking of you can rise up to the challenge and see yourself as an ambassador for something bigger than just you, as a person.
When I observe and analyse successful people in my world, I see one thing, they have something the represent, and it is everywhere: in their content, their visuals, their messaging, it is literally in their cells, and we can feel it. We may not be into what they bring to the table, but we know they are special for those they do. They have this authentic, pure and powerful energy of “an ambassador” for whatever it is that they believe in. And they show up, owning it fully in their online visibility and marketing.
Now, I know what you might be thinking: “But I’m not a natural-born performer. I don’t have the charisma or the confidence to be the face of something so big.”
I get it – I used to feel that way too.
In fact, there are still times when I prefer to stay behind the scenes, letting my work speak for itself. But I realize that if these transformative ideas are going to reach the people who need them most, someone has to be willing to step out of their comfort zone and start championing them. And if it is not me, then who? Who will express what I see, observe, dicover to be trustworthy better than I can? Frankly, nobody.
The biggest a-ha was that there is only one Juliette Stapleton in this world, and I can choose to play small and hoard my insights, hoping to be found and hired so that I can share these secrets.
Or I can lead with what I see, creating a solid foundation not just for myself, but inspiring others to show up in their full individual power, whatever form and shape it takes, without comparing ourselves or our perspectives to others, or trying to fit the mold. Encouraging and empowering others to believe they deserve to be heard! This is what I am an ambassador for.
It’s not an easy transition, I’ll admit. There were moments when I worried that I was being too self-promotional or that I was somehow betraying the integrity of the idea itself.
But then I had a revelation: this isn’t about ego or self-interest. It’s about the people whose lives can be changed by these groundbreaking concepts. When I shifted my mindset to focus on that greater purpose, everything started to fall into place.
You see, my vision for this journey isn’t about building a personal empire or seeking the spotlight for its own sake. It’s about being a door opener – someone who can shine a light on these transformative ideas and empower others to embrace them in their own lives.
I want to create a ripple effect where the insights and breakthroughs I’ve experienced can cascade outward, touching the lives of people I may never even meet. That’s the kind of legacy I want to leave behind – one that extends far beyond my own accomplishments and becomes a testament to the power of these groundbreaking concepts to change the world.
One of the key things I’ve learned is that visibility and personal branding aren’t just about self-promotion. They’re about creating a clear, authentic connection between you and the people you’re trying to reach. It’s about becoming the trusted guide, the expert they can turn to when they need answers or inspiration.
And the best part is, you don’t have to be a polished, rehearsed performer to do it. In fact, I’ve found that the more genuine and approachable you can be, the more people will be drawn to your message.
Think about it this way: when you have a truly innovative idea, you’re not just offering a product or a service. You’re offering a solution to a problem, a new way of thinking, a transformative experience. And the best way to share that with the world is by putting a human face to it – your face.
By becoming the ambassador for a groundbreaking concept, you’re not only spreading the word, but you’re also building trust, credibility, and a sense of connection that can’t be replicated by any other marketing strategy.
And that kind of light is so magnetic, it brings people to you. This is what makes a huge difference to how you run your business. Clients who are open to you, clients who appreciate your way of seeing the world, you being acknowledged for the contribution to the collective, one soul at a time. This kind of business feel simply incredible to run.
Of course, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows.
There is financial pressure to make money now, and if you are truly committed to your business you will need to develop monetisation strategies that go alongside your content as an ambassador. If this is your online business, I would highly recommend not relying on it for income at earlier stages of building that ambasador status, as it is much harder than they let us believe, and takes so much longer than we imagine. Having a part-time job or income-generating activity that can cover your basics is going to give you the headspace and energetic flow to focus on your content and time to figure things out.
There will be challenges, setbacks, and moments when you’ll question whether you’re doing the right thing. But that’s where your passion and your commitment to the idea itself will carry you through.
The commitment is the most important part. I believe most of us do ot actually commit to this online business idea fully. You will know if you are one of those people, if you always have a reason why you have no time or energy to focus on building your online visibility. To survive and thrive 80% of all efforts in your business operations need to be consistently applied on your marketing (I call in Building Your Castle, I even wrote a whole book about it).
It is not the question of liking marketing at all. It is just what has to happen. The more you resist it, the less committed you are, that is the truth, I lovingly ask you to face. Because when you truly believe in what you’re doing, and you’re willing to put in the work to share it with the world, the rewards can be truly incredible.
I’ve seen it happen time and time again, both in my own journey and in the stories of others who have taken the leap to become the ambassador for their groundbreaking ideas. They committed to the journey, they prioritized it, they pushed through their personal insecurities, they found the systems to facilitate the required discipline. They built their “Castles” brick by brick. They initially did a lot of “uncomfortable work”. Nothing that anyone cannot do, if they commit.
Who are “they”? Anyone successful that you know who has a vision and built their success bringing that vision to others The following names are not people I personally follow or admire, but I see what connects them – they all represent an idea and they became an ambassador for that idea: Tony Robbins, Marie Forleo, Bob Proctor, Brendon Burchard. All four have established deep credibility in their niches by consistently producing books, speaking at events, and developing hands-on coaching programs—long before the age of TikTok stars and “influencers.” Their careers showcase the foundational route to becoming an industry ambassador.
They’ve built thriving businesses, inspired movements, and changed the lives of countless people. And you know what? You can do it too. Not exactly like they did it, you have your vision, your message, your way. You do not even have to aim that high, you can determine what feels comfortable for you to aim at. And you can get there – but only with that level of commitment they had. Because when things are already working, the commitment to scaling and expansion is very different to the commitment to establish yourself in the first place.
And me? I walk my talk as best as I can and time to tim I fall off the commitment wagon, too. And this is how I know that there is no other way, but to get back on it and own your role, and your service to the rest of the world.
So, my advice to you is this: don’t be afraid to step into the spotlight. Don’t let your doubts or your fears hold you back from sharing your brilliance with the world.
Embrace your role as the ambassador for a transformative concept, and watch as it transforms not only the lives of your audience, but your own life as well. Because when you have the courage to lead with your authentic voice, the possibilities are truly endless.
P.S.: This article is only covering the aspect of holding back from committing to represent something bigger than you. Naturally, there are other pieces involved in making your business successful as you embody that role. But unless you do, those other parts become harder and harder to rely on for client attraction.
My encouragement to you is this – do not overthink what you represent.
Sometimes giving yourself permission to simply represent YOU and YOUR WAY is enough to start.
The secret is not in precision of your messaging or perfection of it. At the start the secret is volume. As your visibility grows, something will become clear to you, the recurring patterns, themes that make you feel so powerful inside when expressed through what pours out – in the way it happens. Those become your unique niches that you represent. So start with just sharing what you see, think, observe, experience, what you learned and what you envisage.
